Corinne Stern, Chief Medical Examiner for Webb County, and Robert Garcia, Laredo PD Homicide Detective, will present a seminar
on homicide investigation and analysis on March 23-24, 2010, at Texas A&M
University's International Campus in Laredo Texas. Attendees will be police
and sheriff's officers, medicolegal death investigators, and Texas A&M
criminal justice students.

A one-day practical on hands class covering the theory and procedures of blood spatter
analysis and data collection at crime scenes. Designed for law enforcement
officers, attorneys, and private investigators all of which may receive
continuing education (POST, TECLOSE, CLE) credits
Forensics for
Crime Writers
Class meets 7-9 PM for 4
consecutive Wednesday nights at UT and covers blood spatter analysis, crime
scene and shooting reconstruction. This
class is designed for crime and mystery writers or others with a
non-professional criminalistics interest. Sign up through UT Informal
classes at the University of Texas at Austin.
